For mothers with a mood disorder, pregnant or with a newborn....there is a new program for her.  A new and wonderful program to support mothers and infants!
intensive outpatient mental health services and support for pregnant and postpartum women with Perinatal Mood and Disorders “PMADs” such as postpartum depression. The goals of our program are to stabilize the depression, work on the mother-infant relationship and support the extended family as they shift their roles to include a new family member. Our bilingual and bicultural therapists will be utilizing evidence-based, trauma-focused models of treatment; which has been shown to be effective in treating PMADs.

Hope this email finds you well! My name is Yessenia Rodriguez and I am the Clinician of a new program called Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program at The Child Center of NY in Flushing, Queens. This program is an initiative funded by the Office of Mental Health. It is designed to provide intensive outpatient mental health services and support for pregnant and postpartum women with Perinatal Mood and Disorders “PMADs” such as postpartum depression.

I have attached a pamphlet about our program. I would like to further discuss with you regarding how our program may benefit your patients and the referral process; as well as answer any questions you may have about the program. This can be done via telephone, Zoom meeting, or in-person if preferred. Please kindly reply back via my email: yessenia...@childcenterny.org with a date/ time and your contact preference.

Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
