To raise white children to thrive in a multiracial world, we must go beyond good intentions and take deliberate action.
Inaction on our part results in white people raising white children who - intentionally or not - perpetuate racism into the next generation.
In this workshop, adults in children’s lives will learn to:
Be bold, proactive, intentional and deliberate in teaching and modeling anti-racism with children
Counter “colorblindness” with effective strategies to confront racism
Talk with kids about race in developmentally appropriate ways
Unpack media messages that promote white supremacist messaging and racist stereotypes
Help white children navigate - and actively support the building of - a multiracial world
