AUA 2011 Basic Sciences Symposium - “Stem Cells in Urologic Development and Disease”

The 2011 AUA Foundation/SBUR Basic Sciences Symposium: "Stem Cells in Urologic Diseases" will be held at the 2011 AUA Annual Meeting in Washington DC, and is scheduled for Friday, May 13, 2011 from 1 – 6 p.m. The meeting is a joint effort of the American Urological Association (AUA) Foundation, Society for Basic Urological Research (SBUR), and the National Institute for Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). It is intended to be a rigorous and in-depth discussion of an overarching topic area in basic research that will attract leaders in the field, leading urology researchers, clinical urologists and junior investigators to the AUA Annual Meeting and that will advance progress in urology research.
Travel Awards are Available for Young Investigators and Trainess. The deadline for Travel Award Applications has been extended to April 22, 2011. Awards will be announced April 29, 2011.
