Dear all,

I welcome u back from the Easter holidays hoping and believing that you had a blast. Here is a lucky  story of the 6 yr old girl who was snatched amongst her friends in Gulu municipality where they had gone to collect water. It is believed that she survived because she had pierced ears. What could have happened if she didn't have the  pieced ears?i guess we could have lost her too.

We have an anti trafficking law in Uganda and other laws like the Penal Code. Do u think these laws being in place are enough to cub the vice?

Good day to all

Dear Christine, Thans for the concern! The problem is with the whole justice administration system with the consequencies of corruption, lack od appropriations and logistics in terms of judges and competent police officers which the judicial system is aware of as reported by the UHRC but nothing being done! May be these people in the judicial system think the problem may not affect their immediate relatives and they do not care! May be the president waits for issues directly interests him that he will appoint needed judges! who knows!

Sometimes I think that such acts are steered by our leaders are supposed to be protecting the children. Take an example of  the Police, they arrest suspects and let them go unpunished. I think there is a hidden agenda behind such acts.
