RCRT Shares – Dubai Kids in Maralwadi ashram.

Dear All,

Enclosing some very Interesting experiences of Kids from Dubai who attended a SSY Super Memory Camp (100% Memory Program) at Bangalore Maralwadi Ashram.

Around 45 kids attended the program and each of them had amazing life time experiences where they not only completed 5 full subjects of their syllabus but also had fantastic time learning SSY, trekking and exploring Nature and value based education in natural ambience of Maralwadi Ashram.

Following are the Shares by some of them:

I will never forget this phase of my life which every child deserves to get. I couldn’t have possibly asked for a better way to spend my holidays.

Academically i could not have asked for more. The extremely effective 100% Memory Technique is precious beyond what can be expressed. Every student should be entrusted with this knowledge. I also learnt castes are not based on when or what you were born but on your personality. We must ascend to higher levels and become better people. I learnt various sadhanas – suryanamaskar suryayog, yogaasana, pranayam, sufi meditation, aerobics, Kaya Kalp Kriya.

Finishing 5 subjects in a month is incredible and i will encourage all my school mates to attend the camp next year.

This camp has made a major impact on my life, i thank my parents for giving me the best, most important and valuable gift in my life. My experience in this camp will be remembered for life time. I had a new taste of life, living life on your own and being without parents for a whole month. The atmosphere was very natural and full of prana. There was a natural effect of being with mother nature. We were really fortunate to meet guruji rishi prabhakar his talk inspired and moved me. From day 1 till last day i have learnt Time Management is very crucial. I myself cannot believe i have finished my geography, science and maths in one month. I am confident about my subjects now.

The camp is amazing. Every child has to do it atleast once. It brought the adventurous side of me. It also improved me in academics. I didn’t like the camp for the first few days but then i realized its no use of staying sad. It also made me really healthy. I also finished 5 subjeccts entirely in 30 days. One of the main reasons i could finish the subjects was MEDITATION. It really had a great impact on me. I also learnt another important lesson: how to live life simply with no fear.

In our academics we finished 5 subjects in almost no time. We started with geography, then biology, chemistry, physics and maths. It was a very very tiring process but at the end of it all i feel happy i have accomplished so much. In fact now i can easily recite the entire subject without even glimpsing the note book. We also received training in SSY. This has changed my outlook of life.

In the camp i have learnt quiet a few things: To be away from my parents, To cope up with things, To be more independent and responsible, To remove my laziness, To do things faster, To be punctual, To learn how to take care of my things, To be brave and confident. I learnt how to improve my memory and be excellent in academics. SSY was a very good lesson for life. I missed my parents a lot.

The place where punctuality is a show stealer i stepped into such a place. The inaugurating day was filled with bewildered faces. Not knowing what to do, when to do and where to do we just followed. Then the thick mist between us was broken , we came to know each other. The overwhelming experience of being away from parents was shadowed by hard core fun. As the days progressed the gradual declination of laziness and ascending morality was distinct. My character has developed. To prove it here are some examples – getting up early, Physical fitness, sadhna and Aerobics, Sewa in Groups, Fun Play – in the rain, Time Management, Learnt some Kannada, Gurujis Tapes. Whatever i do wherever i go however i am i will never let go of the memories filled with hectic schedules and loving people.

100% Memory program was really great. I will never forget this experience in life. Here we studied in Nature. In school its just like sitting in a corner, in school we finish 1 chapter in 4 days but here we finished 1 subject in 3 days. We wnt to forest over night, slept near a dam, did lot of trekking. Our food habits have improved, now we never waste food. We played in rain, climbed trees, we sang bhajans, learnt new games and most importantly be happy with what you have. We finished 5 subjects in one month which in school would take 1 year.

This camp has been a very wonderful experience trekking, living for a month with friends, finishing 5 subjects in a month in itself is a great experience. Our adventures were amazing and superb. I learnt a lot from this place. Usually a careless and irresponsible girl who gets up at 10, now has been disciplined in a subtle but very effective manner. I learnt so much in life because of SSY – leader follower conscience, happiness, desires, meditation and much more. Before the only close brother to me was Nikhil, but after the camp i am pretty sure i have 44 brothers to take care of me. Our teachers were probably the best teachers we had because i am sure i never had such wonderful, supporting and strict friends as teachers, who not only took care of your studies, but also of your needs, of you of your commitments and everything necessary.
