Meeting 7:30 183 Pearson(My House) and Info

Hey friends,

I'm back in town and we're going to have the meeting tonight at my place(183 Pearson Dr) in Montford. Come out if you can make it, Elizabeth and I have some exciting news and we can get some more things ironed out for our concert in September.

For those of you who have been out of the loop, here's what has transpired this Summer:

- We are organizing a benefit/awareness concert for Sept. 24th which coincides with Moving Planet Day(Bill Mckibben's world-wide day of action/events) http://www.350.org/en/about/blogs/moving-planet

- We are working with Mountain Protectors to plan this event. They are a recently formed local anti-nuclear organization with many veteran activists who are providing invaluable knowledge.

- We have touched base with Brandee Boggs of the Student Environmental Center and are prepared to begin planning numerous campaigns and initiatives around campus, including the dorm-challenge, teaching in the sunlight and MTR stickers next to light switches. Teaming up with the Student Energy and Fellowship Grant to implement these goals. 

- As of right now we are calling ourselves the Flip the Switch campaign, a sub-group of ASHE, ready to rock the boat!
