PLEASE DO FORWARD – after you clip out email addresses – mine is ma...@nirs.org for anyone who gets this one “forward” and wants more info! Lots of folks not copied here – please PASS IT ON!!!!
Folks – in one of the worst indicators that this “reuse, reuse, recycle” story might be mis-applied to the NUCLEAR FUEL waste… the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission is holding a 2 day session of “round table discussion” on setting regulations in order to LICENSE a REPROCESSING facility.
You see, reprocessing is currently not happening in the USA… but now…
The meeting is in Augusta GA on June 21 + 22 – and Susan Corbett, Tom Clements and I (perhaps others) have been invited to “discuss” the “gaps” that NRC has.
The agenda is below (and attached). They will have an “audience” in the room (YOU?) and at 4:30 on Tuesday and 3:45 on Wednesday they will listen to “public comments.”
SO folks from WNC – short notice, but you wanna get a bus? A van?
Youth – I likely will have a room in the motel…wanna do “enchilada sleeping” and stay over? You are welcome!
