All of the young people in this project have hopes and dreams for the
future- for themselves and for the world around them. How are you (if
you think you are) different from your parents' generation? What will
your change be?

I feel that my hopes and dreams are larger than what my parents were.
I've know from when I was little that I was going to be big, not big
like tall or strong, but big like I'm going to be a household name. My
parents never really had dreams of Stardom, but I want the world to
see me and know exactly who I am for years to come. As I tell people I
want to become so famous that no matter where I am I can kick in a and
knock it off its hinges, and it would be ok. Like if I go to the Ritz
Caroltin Hotel, I can just kick down the front door and no one minds
because I'm that big of a Star!

I know im different because i push myself more then my parents pushed
themselves. I hate quiting and giving up dreams. Right now my dream is
to become a marine biologist. My parents always told me i could do
watever i wanted but i dont think they ever dreamed i would make it
this far in high school. And with 14 days left of high school its
getting closer and i cant be more excited!

WOW GUYZ 14 DAYS LEFT WHERE DID IT ALL GO???

PEACE TO ALL

I think I'm different from my parents generation because my parents
didn't think that they could change things that were going on around
them, let alone the world. I feel that I have the power to do
anything to help the world and to be the person to change the world.
My parents pushed through as hard as they could when they were younger
to secure a future for their children, and still are. They know that
I appreciate all that they've done and love them, but they don't
really know or understand how much they mean to me. They hear it, but
I don't think it registers. I don't think it ever will. Oh well,
life goes on.

Oh, and Emily, it didn't go anywhere. It's still here. It'll always
be here.

My parents both came from very poor backgrounds. Both had to pay for
their own collage and both had struglles with money until later in
life. Now because of thier hard work I have a better life, but still
our goals and duty's are very different. I think I am the most
patriotic in my family and I too have big dreams and so far my life
has been a full and sucessful one. I think My parents never thought
that they could change the world, like alex said, and I don't think
they ever thought it was their job to defend the country so
adimentlly. my values are alot like my parents but my personality is
100% different. They were never as commical and silly as I am (its
hard to match my shanangins) but I think thats a good thing.I think
this generation will change alot of the world and I am proud to be in
it. And remember Emily, Alex is right the good times and memories are
right here with us and we have had so much fun here at G-star.

Spoiled. very spoiled. Although I don't feel entitled to anything,
like ppl say my generation is, I have it far easier. And I'm so
focused on being entertained when it was a privillage for them to do
something fun a month. Meanwhile I'm trying to go out to eat or go to
the movies 2 or 3 times a week. I have it far easier.
