Yllka Poetry for the Performance

Below are links to two videos created by Yllka in Kosovo. We think
these are the same poem recited in Albanian and English, but none of
us here speak Albanian, so could you tell us if we're mistaken, Yllka?
(She sent us a few others in Albanian as well!)
The idea for the performance is to play the video of Yllka reciting
the poem in Albanian while one of the American students reads it in
English, creating an immediate collaboration that bridges the miles
between us.

I think that is a very good idea, I like the Poem Yllka. I'm not much
of a poetry person, cause I can't compose any myself but I like that
we can share all this with each other. I hope this is all well
recieved and we can contiue this next year, as well as performances of
our art in Kosovo. We should send some to you.

Thank you very much Ian! I'm sure this will continue the next year as
well and I'm sure other kids will join all the discussions that will
be made. And we'll definitely continue sharing ideas and our works of
art.

Yllka the poem is amazing!! I can't wait to see what the next years
kids come up with. I really am hoping to keep in contact with everyone
and work with you all somemore!

I think it's such an awesome idea to have Yllka's poem playing while
it's being read by one of the students here in America in english!!
Beatutiful work, Yllka by the way! I think if it's possible we should
definitely make that idea possible. I think that's a good
representation of what this group was about symbolically.
