I can speak Oct 30 on school gardens.

 

I can talk about how to get one started and share resources I have. The benefits to children, families, school staff and community, and share what works and what are problems to work on. And just use my experience as an example of the whole experience. There are different garden activities, I can share and explain what I do with the children which is nature journaling and growing a salad. I'll work on coming up with more. I hope that sounds fine.

Since I have not been able to finalize the 3rd speaker for the Children in Nature lectures, would you mind taking that spot?

CHILDREN IN NATURE "Caretaking in a Healthy City" - Tuesday, September 25,  7:30 - 9:00pm Merritt College,12500 Campus Drive  Oakland, CA 94619; Room R-23 (bottom level of the R-Building at the main entrance to campus).

 

What I need from you asap:

 

1) 2-3 things the audience will learn or take away from your presentation

2)Speaker(s) name, title, company, short bio

 

If you hare planning to have PowerPoint slides, I will need them 2 days before the event. We want to load them on the computer in the conference room prior to the event, so we don't have any technical issues.
