Dear Friends,
Bedari, in collaboration with Action Aid Pakistan and Awaz CDS Multan, organized a conference to highlight the impact of early marriages on girls. The conference was held on March 20, 2012 in Islamabad. It was attended by over 250 people, and received ample coverage in the national media as well.
I am sharing the report of the conference with you. I understand that most of you have busy schedules, and might not be able to go through the entire report. However, I would like to suggest that you see the ‘Recommendations’ given on page 9 of the report.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Most Sincerely,
Safeer Ullah Khan
