Our Position on Girls' Early Marriages

Dear CRM Members,
Bedari and Action Aid Pakistan have jointly worked on a position paper on girls’ early marriages. I am sharing it with you – CRM Members – for your feedback and suggestions. Furthermore, we would like CRM to take a joint/united stand on this important issue, and endorse the position paper. If anyone has any reservations, we can discuss it in the next CRM meeting to address that. We would like to take this initiative forward through CRM platform with member on board.
I hope CRM members would respond positively to our request, and would not hesitate in supporting and leading us towards successful advocacy and lobbying on this important issue.

As we all know that CRM secretariat has now been rotated and through election it has now shifted to Children First who will be facilitating from now. Ghazala Shah is the focal person from CF and her email is ghazal...@childrenfirst.org.pk
For provincial chapters I would suggest that each chapter should call a meeting to decide that who will be facilitating from now in your each respective region which can be decided by your respective members. Once you have decided the focal organization then that can coordinate with CF at federal level.
