I have no problems using ES File Explorer on several Android devices. In my case I have created an entry on the ES File Explorer Network page under LAN. I use a User name and password created via the My Cloud Dashboard (administrator account in my case) rather than leave Anonymous checked.
Thank you for your reply. What do you mean when you say you have created an entry on the ES File Explorer Network page under LAN? Is there a manual creation you need to do? If yes, please do let me know.
After doing the scan, if the My Cloud is found and listed under Search Results, select the My Cloud which should put a check in the box on the right of the name, then select the Pencil icon from the menu bar to Edit the My Cloud entry.
Credentials ARE REQUIRED to access a Private share. So you will have to enter them in a file browser, be it CM or ES, (or File Explorer, or Finder). This has nothing to do with Media Serving or Public access. You need to log in the the MyCloud as a User to access the file accessible to that User.

The free version of ES File Explorer will work with a My Cloud to access the Shares. Either run a Scan or select New while on the LAN page in ES File Explorer. Input the Server Name or IP address (I use IP address). Uncheck Anonymous if checked and input a User Name and Password that you have created in the My Cloud Dashboard to access Shares. Then save the changes. So long as your Android device is connected (via WiFi or Ethernet) to the same local network as the My Cloud one should be able to use ES File Explorer to access the My Cloud once properly set up.

I was using ES Explorer to connect to a PC okay but recently I changed the modem then my Android phone can't connect to the computer anymore. I thought it would be caused by a setting on my modem, but searching on Google cannot help me find out. Please tell me how to get my android connected to the PC so I can access files again.
Details:
I have ES Explorer 3 on Android.
My Android is connected to the internet through the same modem as my PC.
The D partition has been shared as "Everyone to view.
When I add a new server from ES File Explorer, it says "Error, Can not find the server"
Update: I have turned off Windows Firewall.
I had the same problem. It was with the router. The router was DLink Dsl 2750 u. In wireless basic settings > enable multiAP isolation. That was enabled, I disabled it and I was able to access my pc. Check it if multiAP/multicast isolation is enabled on your router. If it is disable it.
If they don't work, try switching the WiFi/wireless off on the Android device then reconnecting, checking the server/computer is connected to the network/internet (hostname -I on Unix/Linux) or restarting the Android device.
Alternatively, if you're trying to connect to a server that has a SSH (Secure Shell) service (port 22), you can use SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) to access files with a user account on the server.
This connection type is available in ES File Explorer - just use the "Network" tab "New" button.
In Private Network section, select these "turn on network discovery and its subordinate checkbox", "turn on file and printer sharing", then again use this address in windows explorer "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center" and make sure your ethernet adapter is a private network.
Now go to android, open your local network app (in this case es explorer, but this works for other apps as well), use the copied ip address in the host name/ip address textbox, use the copied username and password, and press connect.
In my case, there was a bug with the password. I recently changed the password of my Microsoft Account (which I used to log in to my PC) so I was trying to use my new password in ES Explorer. However, the password that worked was my old password. I guess this is a bug where Windows doesn't update the password used for remote connections and file sharing.
I have got this from time to time, e.g. after the computer has reloaded with a different IP or if I have changed the computer name. When it occurs I usually delete the server from the app, unload ES File Explorer completely, and restart my phone and/or tablet, then when it comes up I re-scan and it seems to be OK again. I have never had to add 'smb://' to the IP, or change from Anonymous, to fix the problem.
Those who didn't set a user password for your PC:You will have errors connecting to server (to your PC) if you leave the password blank. Set up your account password in your PC then use that to connect.
So, the only way I got this working was to turn off password protected sharing. Then on es file explorer press and hold on my laptops icon in the network search then click the pencil at the top right then in domain entered the name of my laptop then entered my username and password and then that was it. I was able to see all my files but I cant get into the c drive only my files in my user folder are accessible and obviously public folders. So even turning off the password sharing it still seems secure.
In Network and Sharing Center there's a button for Media Sharing. I clicked on the drop down arrow and got an option of Change. On the next screen were permissions. Share My Media To Other users of the PC was not ticked, so I ticked it.
Instead of using the full e-mail address of your Microsoft account, just use the first five characters. I'm not sure if that's how it generates the username, but you can check what it exactly is by typing 'whoami' in command prompt, and your username will appear after the slash for the domain.
Open your Router's Settings page in browser. To do that enter your router's IPv4 Address in Address bar. To Find Router's IP Address run "ipconfig" on your Command prompt. Find IP Address adjacent to Default Gateway (IP format would be 192.xxx.x.x).
ES File Explorer is a great tool for managing files and programs. It comes with many additional features, such as a tool for killing running applications, direct cloud drive storage (via Dropbox, Google Drive, or Skydrive), and an FTP client to use on your mobile device and your PC.
The app allows any Android user to manage all of their resources easily, access anything on their mobile device, and then share it if they so want to. Uploading photos, watching movies, and managing your 3G connection are now even easier.
When working with your files, you will have the classic options you are accustomed to on desktop computers, such as copy, paste, cut, create, delete, and rename. But, you can also send files to anybody via email.
ES File Explorer was removed from the Google Play Store in April 2019, along with the rest of the apps from DO Global. The app automatically clicked on advertising banners to increase revenue, which goes against Google's usage policy.
There are lots of alternatives to ES File Explorer if you're looking for the best file explorer app. Some of these include Google Files, CX File Explorer, FX File Explorer, and File Manager by Xiaomi.

I have a requirement to enter multiple batches for each line Item in ZBatch collection under material document item object, to achieve this requirement i am trying the integration of OpenUI with Agentry.
In Agentry screen i have created a push button. On click of this button it will trigger the open UI Screen in which I am sending some agentry fields value to OpenUI (Material, Material Document, Material Description, ZAcceptedQty, ZAddBatch) and user will be able to enter the value of batch which includes Quantity, Sled, Mfd, Batch fields where entered value should come back to agentry in loop from OpenUI to ZBatch object which is collection under MaterialDocumentItem object e.g-
