Hi Chicago Code4Lib,

How are things?  It's kind of dead in this Google Group.  We don't have any conferences on deck, and covid of course, but it seems like everybody just vanished.

Where does everybody hang on the web these days to talk shop?  Twitter?  <shudder>

Or maybe Ex Libris chatrooms?  Or someplace else?

'Am smiling. :-D And I was thinking similarly. The other day I participated in Code4Lib BC, and while I was not so certain about the event, it was very well orchestrated. All via Zoom, and it worked just fine. Yes, there as a lot of work to make it happen, but it did happen, and they felt proud of what they did. See the wiki:

Hello from pandemic burnout land! We launched the new librarylearning.org in early September. I do not recommend launching the biggest project of your career during a pandemic, and if any of you have also done that in the past eleven months - solidarity and peace to you. If anyone would like API access to grab Illinois library data, let me know.
