Listen to select event in dataPicker widget

Hi everyone,

I try to make a simple thing, just add an even listener on "select" on
the datePicker widget ...

On the documentation, only "ready" event is describe and there is a
select event on calendar but the component is readonly ?!?

So how can we listen for a new date selected in datePicker ?

oh, can you confirm that this method is good to return the date :
$myDatePicker.element.value ?
