home at last

Thanks for all your prayers and best wishes. After 28 painful days in
the hospital, I am finally home. I underwent radical surgery for
bladder cancer and had complications I am not out of the woods yet, I
contracted four infections, two of them deadly. I will be on IV
antibiotics for at least another week with home care nurses keeping
things dripping.
See you on the ball field soon even if I am not playing.
