LYONS, COLORADO — March 3, 2010 — With the addition of Lyle Lovett, Court Yard Hounds, Brandi Carlile, and others, Planet Bluegrass announces the complete lineup for the 37th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival, June 17-20 in Telluride, CO. Four-day passes, camping, and lodging are available now at

800-624-2422.
With their new project Court Yard Hounds, superstar sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire (of the Dixie Chicks) make their first appearance at Telluride Bluegrass after winning the Telluride Band Contest in 1990 as the Dixie Chicks.
Four-time Grammy-winner Lyle Lovett returns for his fifth Telluride Bluegrass appearance, dating back to his festival debut in 1987. Making her first Telluride appearance is rocking Washington State singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile – who collaborated with Elton John and Tom Petty on her latest album.
Also completing the lineup is Keller & the Keels, a pairing of one-man jamband Keller Williams with the bluegrass duo of guitarist Larry Keel and bassist Jennie Keel. Soulful singer-songwriter-cellist Ben Sollee completes the 2010 lineup, making his solo Telluride debut after performing with Abigail Washburn & the Sparrow Quartet featuring Bela Fleck in 2007.
These new additions join a lineup that already includes one of this year’s rare performances from Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, as well as the timeless vocal blend of musical partners Dave Rawlings and Gillian Welch, members of the Dave Rawlings Machine.
The 37th annual festival brings together the storied names that have defined the Telluride Bluegrass sound: Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, Sam Bush Band, Hot Rize, Punch Brothers, Peter Rowan, Del McCoury Band, John Cowan Band. Telluride Bluegrass marks the only annual appearance of the legendary Telluride House Band – Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Bryan Sutton, and Stuart Duncan.
A younger generation of roots musicians make their Telluride debuts including: British arena-folk quartet Mumford & Sons, singer-songwriter Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band, the joyous 10-piece Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, the stringband revivalists Carolina Chocolate Drops, Irish rockabilly star Imelda May.
Rolling Stone Magazine calls Telluride Bluegrass “the most spectacular natural setting of any American festival.” The intimate 10,000-person festival is held in the historic southwestern Colorado mining town, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and alpine waterfalls.
Unique among the major American festivals, Telluride Bluegrass consists of a single main stage with a single carefully curated schedule. Festivarians enjoy the entire day’s music from a place on their tarp. These tarp spaces are obtained anew each day in the morning’s “tarp run.”
Single-day tickets will be available within the next two weeks, with the announcement of the single-day schedule. In addition, the lineup of late-night indoor NightGrass shows in Telluride and nearby Mountain Village (a free gondola ride above Telluride) will be announced in the coming weeks. As always, Planet Bluegrass charges no service fees on any tickets.
