Throw these virtual dice to bring fun to your math lessons. Useful for lessons on probability, dividing students for group work, playing games, practicing math operations, or determining the coordinates for graphing, virtual dice are great. They never get lost and are ready for use by the whole class or individual students.
Introducing dice in classroom activities adds an element of friendly competition. This motivates students to engage more deeply with the subject matter. Moreover, many dice games encourage teamwork and collaboration. Teach students the value of working together towards a common goal.
You need a handful of dice other than six-sided, but you can use an app or online dice roller for that - the vast majority of rolls in DW are six sided dice. All checks within the system, including making an attack, using a class ability, and making general moves are resolved by rolling 2d6s and adding a simple modifier from your class sheet. The only time your roll a die other than 2d6s is when you deal damage (or a monster deals damage to you).
The rules are very easy and well-organized. They do use the some of the funny dice, but as a previous poster mentioned, a dice roller app or website (I like Wizards of the Coast's die roller) can supply that.
If you are OK with allowing your players to have a screen at the table, there are lots of dice rolling apps or online options that can be used instead of physical dice. A lot of virtual tabletop systems (Roll20, D&D Beyond, Tabletop Simulator, etc) also have built in dice rolling systems that total your numbers up for you.
