Hi Trevor,

I was wondering if LifeSnapz is still hiring. I'll be moving to
Chicago on August 1st and I'm looking to acquire an entry level Ruby
on Rails developer position somewhere. I've been studying and
following Ruby on Rails for about a year now while testing my
knowledge on some sample applications i've written. I have a .NET
background, but want to focus on RoR from here on out.

Anybody else have any recommendations of companies to contact?

Hope to meet some new people at the August ChicagoRuby meeting.

Hey Adam-

Coming to the ChicagoRuby.org meetings is a good start. You might also
visit the Chirb meetings (http://chirb.org). There's some overlap
between the Chirb and ChicagoRuby.org, and it's always good to meet
folks from different parts of the Rails world.

Also, consider attending WindyCityRails (http://windycityrails.org).
The conference isn't geared toward recruiting, but with so many
developers in one place we're expecting some networking opportunities.

I've been on vacation for a bit now, but I believe they're still
looking. Drop them a line with your resume and any sample code you've
got going.
