Logan Square Cooperative open house Sept 8th

Please join us on Saturday Sept 8th from 3 to 6PM as we host our annual end of summer open house. There will be food and drinks provided, and a chance for you to learn more about our housing cooperative located in the Avondale neighborhood on the near northwest side of Chicago.

International Year of the Cooperative Celebration

The United Nations “International Year of the Cooperative” highlights the significant contribution Cooperatives are making to Economic Development around the world. In these uncertain economic times, I believe it is important to showcase how Housing Cooperatives are providing stable, quality affordable housing for more than 40 years in this region. I also believe it is important that People in Coops in Chicago should know that they are a part of a worldwide movement.

To that end, the Center for Cooperative Housing is organizing a celebration of housing cooperatives in Chicago on Saturday, September 29. Please spread the word among your members. We would like to see members from all the coops in Chicago attend this party. Go to www.centerforcoophousing.org to learn more.

Let’s work together to create a celebration that will truly be one of a kind and very special to all in attendance.
