Moving Forward - Upcoming Meeting Topics

Everyone,

First, I spoke with Michael earlier this morning - due to my mother's
increasing ill health, I am finding that I have increasingly less time
to devote
to helping organize the Net Tuesday meetings. However, I don't want to
just abandon the group, so I am e-mailing everyone to inform you that
I will be stepping down as co-organizer with the July 12th meeting. In
the interim, I would like to work on not only setting up topics for
the next
few meetings, but also begin thinking about how we better
transition/mentor potential new organizers. (I would still act as
participant and act as
a resource for the group as a whole, and would be attending meetings
on a semi-regular basis)

I am willing to take point on topics, and have reached out to contacts
about QR codes and widget creation. I am also thinking about setting
up a presentation on Communitech, which is a way for informal
education and sharing of resources (several of their volunteers teach
data management,
web design, etc - see http://www.communiteach.org). Any other topics
or areas of interest to look into?
