Net Tuesday/Community Media Workshop Joint Meeting

First, thanks for connecting with me via Linked In - we've met at
previous Net Tuesday meetings in the past; now that I'm taking
on more of a leadership role, I wanted to touch base about a joint meeting.

I know we've had our meetings at CMW when you have had your yearly
summer conference; I was wondering if you would
be interested in allowing us to hold our meeting on the Tuesday before
the conference. (I think we've done it as an unofficial
"launch", but we're more than willing to be flexible). We're thinking
of either our June or July meeting.

I realize my e-mail may be unclear - please feel free to contact me if
you need to touch base either via phone or face to face.

If it will help matters (and I'm CCing my fellow organizers to keep them in the loop), we don't necessarily have to be right on top of the conference.

Meaning - if we can still do that second Tuesday in June (which I believe is 6/12), it might be a great way for us to continue to work together, and we would create a meeting that might help you as well.

We're only doing a one-day conference on Thursday June 14 this year (lack of underwriting, special G8 summit project just beforehand, etc) so while we'd love to host Net Tuesday, it won't fall next to the conference itself. Unless Maggie or Demetrio have another take on this, we may need to skip a year.
