I'm now working on a contractual basis with the Greater Southwest
Development Corporation (http://greatersouthwest.org) to provide
consultation on social media (blogs, Twitter, etc) to small businesses
in the area under a "smart communities" . I did talk with my contact a
few weeks ago about whether they would be open to having us use their
facility as a meeting space, and she indicated that they were. (Did not
commit to anything).
Would we be open to having our November (or a future) meeting at their
main office?
Thankfully, it's close to the 49 (Western) bus (and a short trip from
the Orange Line
station). The only drawback is that it's located at 63rd and Rockwell
(map can be found at http://g.co/maps/dbgk), which may make it
difficult for our more downtown and North side-centric members.
Any thoughts? Issues? Should I just go ahead and ask?
Thanks,
Gordon
