I'm glad we were able to connect this morning - as promised, I am
following up with you about your partner Rob Warnowski's presentation
for Chicago Net Tuesday. (I'm also CCing my
We will be meeting on Tuesday, May 10th, around 6-ish at I C Stars
(http://ww2.icstars.org/), 212 W Superior, Suite 300. (I will try to
be there around 5:30). We usually get between 10 - 20 people, and
think of this as more of a conversation than a formal presentation
(so no need for a PowerPoint, etc). Our focus is bringing together
tech and non-profits (or more globally, tech for the social good), and
since Digital NPO is working in that realm, this would be a great
resource to bring to our membership.
In terms of content, I wanted to just touch base and suggest not only
the resources you can bring for social media and non-profits,
but also some of the other services (I think you mentioned
architecture), and if you can bring information about QR codes and
widget
creation, all the better. Since you're working with CivicCRM, I'll be
sure to introduce you to Dave Chakrabarti, who has worked with the
platform. (Since he's one of our co-organizers, he'll receive this e-mail).
Please let me know if you need anything else - will perform my other
action items later in the week.
