Stand Against Oppression! Stand for Humanity! Stand for Your Ummah & Stand in Prayer!

With all the oppression our Ummah is facing around the world, especially in #Aleppo, we tend to do everything to help the situation, but pray and make sincere du'ā (supplication). Du’ā is the strongest weapon Allah Ta'ala has blessed this Ummah with, but it is the last thing we turn to. Whenever a calamity befall the Sahabah (ra), they would drop everything, go to the masjid, and collectively make du’ā to seek Allah Ta'ala's mercy and help!

In 2014, we together as an Ummah successfully started the #GlobalPrayer4Opressed initiative by reviving the Qunut al-Nazila prayer in over 400 masjids in 19 different countries alhamdulillah!

Yesterday (Dec 13th), I received many messages to start up the #GlobalPrayer4Oppressed initiative again for #Aleppo. So after doing mashwara with Shaykh Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera, it was decided to start this global prayer effort again inshaAllah.

I would like to invite you all again to get your local Masjid (s) to register & join this #GlobalPrayer4Oppressed cause. We request all Masjids to start the Qunut al-Nazila prayer this Friday, December 16th, 2016 - Fajr salaah and continue it until they deem best inshaAllah. If your masjid can begin prior to this date, please do so!

DISCLAIMERS:
*Please follow your local scholars and masjid's ruling on when the Qunut al-Nazila prayer will be conducted at your masjid and for how many days.

An-Nu'man ibn Basheer reported: The Prophet ﷺ, said, "The example of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever." - (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim).
