Dear All,

Josefromchicago's immigration case is over...We have won, I will not be order deported.

Thank you for all your help, time, support - standing with Josue, me and my family on this difficult times, we appreciated very much. Even though this is over for me and Josue, there is still much work to continue doing against the injustices that happen on a daily basis. Today (and every day) at the court building, it was pack with people and their families, with individuals young and old, men, women and children - many of them aren't lucky enough to have the resources and rely on people like I do. Many don't even have attorneys with them...I know that I'm one of the lucky few that "made it", however thousands in similar situation as mines end up being deported. Every day (as many already know) there are 1100 people deported, every year there are 400,000 individuals deported from this country, 400,000 more in detention at any given day, an overwhelming majority has no criminal background at all. It is insufficient to advocate for a selected few ... we must end the narrative of "lets give something to the worthy ones first - the selected few" because then (the narrative goes) they will then advocate for the rest.

Today was One down, and Millions to Go.

Again, thank you all, you have contributed to this victory. My struggle has not ended, I'll continue to advocate for justice for all. Always speaking out against injustices and being critical of the struggle, using an identity based on politics rather than politics based on identity - like always.

"The struggle continues...due to "undocumented activism privilege", access to resources ... fake judge and theatrical scene ... we have prevailed in the kangaroo court room. My immigration case is over, however my activism and identity based on politics remain the same...This doesn't change my politics but instead it makes them stronger...This being over for me doesn't mean that (as the narritive goes) now I g
et to advocate for the less fortunate (privilege) like many in the immigrant rights movement advertised and strategized around it or ,that now I get to go to the "allies" workshop on "how to be an ally
" jump in the vanwagon
and cheer from the side lines ... I have never believe in such ridiculous approach... I will always be in the struggle and with the less fortunate, the less privilege, the what they called "unworthy" ones.

See you all in the streets, like always! - A message brought to you by the one person that many have tried to silence!
