Direct Action at the Mexican Consulate in Chicago
Community Members Accuse the Mexican Government of State Crimes
 
Autonomous groups organize a People’s Tribunal to accuse the Mexican government of state crimes. They will also hold a Popular Assembly, followed by a Posada Revolucionaria.
 
What: Direct Action at Mexican Consulate (204 S. Ashland Ave. Chicago)
When: Friday December 19, at 2pm
Who: A Coalition of Ayotzinapa Supporters and Community Members
 
Itinerary:
2:00PM:
Protest and People’s Tribunal - sharing testimonies about state crimes against poor people, indigenous communities and immigrants (including disappearances, massacres, femicides, displacement, deportation, imprisonment and others). Community forum on autonomy and self-sufficiency.
 
5:00PM:
Revolutionary Posada: Featuring the special appearance of Mexico’s president Enrique Peña Nieto piñata - “The Peñata.”
