On Friday Latino
workers from the Midwest and across the
country are meeting up for a special set of workshops starting at 10 a.m. and
joining the conference after.
This Latino Track is coordinated by Michigan LCLAA and LCLAA Chapters from Albany, NY., Greater Toledo, OH., and Washington, DC.
The Latino Track includes;
10:00 AM Tribute to Cesar Chavez by

10:30 AM Concurrent Workshops on
Basic Union Skills and the History of Latinos in Labor (bilingual)
12 NOON: FLOC Immigration Suit
Presentation: Beatriz Maya and FLOC Lawyers This will be a Working Lunch~Bring
your own Lunch (Brown Bag Lunch)
1:30 PM More Concurrent Workshops on Workers Rights (bilingual)
As well as another assortment of
bilingual workshops and special meetings throughout the weekend conference

Regular attendees can choose to not attend the banquet but we don't offer a discount for opting-out unless they are a scholarship recipient or day rate w/o banquet.
