Dear Rosi Today in Alabama we'll see undocumented parents and youth come out of the shadows, at the risk of arrest, to push back against anti-immigrant rhetoric.  We'll be confronting the man himself, Senator Beason, the author of hate bill 56.  At the risk of arrest families will be demanding Senator Beason to stop the hate.  Watch the event on live-stream here - show goes live at 2:00 pm CST. Just last week Senator Pearce, the Arizona legislator and author of similar legislation, was taken down by a grassroots campaign.  Hopefully he was the first of many anti-immigrant legislators to feel the heat for their long-time positions of hate against our families.  We told them for years that at some point we'd fight back and that time is now. The parents are coming out to demand a different America.  Simply put we want the same liberties America promises all of us on paper.  The only way we can one day reach that goal is to come out, to take risks knowing that the community has got our back.  Today, for the first time ever, undocumented parents will join youth in taking that risk and facing arrest - (going live at 2:00 pm CST) don't miss the show!! We'll have an update rolling through as soon as the event comes to a close.  We hope, just like you, that Senator Beason will make the right move and prevent the arrest of the families.  Be sure to tune in and support the families!
