A win for either major party on November 6th will mean more economic austerity and continued war.

Whether or not the "fiscal cliff" of across-the-board budget cuts is avoided before the end of the year, both Obama and Romney are committed to cutting budget deficits.  And since both are committed to continued funding of America's wars, those cuts will be aimed at the 99%.

China's economic growth is cooling, and Europe's Euro Zone lurches from crisis to crisis. Even if the U.S. somehow manages to accelerate its anemic growth, it faces declining opportunities to export to most of its major trading partners.

But we don't have to be just victims of their economic crisis.  A hard push from the 99% forced some Depression-era governments to change their budget priorities.

Whoever wins on Nov. 6th, we will face an urgent need for struggle against the most severe economic attacks of our lifetimes.

To help kick this off, we invite you to participate in a planning meeting to organize COUNTER-Inaugural Day action(s) on the day the next administration is sworn in.

The planning meeting will be at 4 PM to 6 PM, Saturday, November 10 at Multi-Kulti, 1000 N. Milwaukee Avenue, 4th floor, Chicago (wheelchair accessible).  Please help spread the word by joining the Facebook event and inviting others.
