Immigrant Solidarity Dupage, the west suburb’s fastest growing  Latino community  activist group, in its mission since its founding in 2007 to educate, unite and organize the community around Latino and immigrant issues and civil rights will present celebrated Spanish-language journalist Vicente Serrano for a screening of his 2008 documentary “A Forgotten Injustice” on Saturday, August 29 at 2pm at the Glenside Public Library, 25 E.Fullerton, Glendale Heights IL.
 
The work which relates the history of mass deportations of close to two  million Mexican immigrants and their citizen children from the United States during the Great Depression of the 1930s . These people were forced to leave because of one reason: They were of Mexican descent. The work is especially powerful as deportations and  detentions of immigr@
