OK MCN READERS,

The democratic primary elections are ongoing even as I write this message. Check the Chicago Board of Elections web site for "EARLY VOTING" sites. http://www.chicagoelections.com/

Also, you can vote "ABSENTEE". The rules have been changed and you do not have to be out of town or sick to vote "ABSENTEE".

Early voting is IMPORTANT!!! You can beat the rush, no long lines, and you don't have to stand in the cold waiting to vote.

If you are DOWNTOWN, you can vote st 69 W. Washington (Washington and Dearborn).

oK GENTE, it's tiem for my Democratic Primary choices.

The most important elections are as follows:

Jorge Mujica - 3rd District Democratic Congressional Primary

Rudy Lozano, Jr. for 23rd District State Representative

Jesus "Chuy" Garcia for 7th Distric Cook County Commissioner

Dorothy Brown for President of the Cook County Board

These are the most important races on the MCN radar gente.....So make sure you go out and vote early!!!!

Tell your friends and family to do so also. We need a large record turn out of voters to make these victories possible!!!!

Again, if our choices win, then the shock waves will be felt all across this nation.

Local and national media coverage are taking note of these key races:

Read in Crain's Chicago:

Chuy & Rudy in the New York Times:

Adelante Gente - let's change and take control of our political destinies.
