OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE MISSION and The Duron Law Firm, P.C. in conjunction with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrants and Refugee Rights is calling a press conference at 11:00 am, on Monday, March 21st, to announce the "Know Your Rights Workshops," part of the campaign of the Immigrant Community Deffense Committees, which will provide information about recent immigration raids and other actions which affect our families, and to educate our community about their rights.
The workshops will be based on the "Know Your Rights" program. Some of the issues to be addressed are:
- What to do (and not to do) when facing an immigration officer
