<ChicagoMayDay> Immigrant Nation! WINNER! of "BEST DOCUMENTARY" at CLFF and LOOKING forward to ARIZONA

I want to start with thanking everyone that came to our first screenings at the Chicago Latino Film Festival. The presentations were sold out days before the showing and most of the audience stayed for an engaging  Q & A at the end of the screenings.  We got nothing but great feed back from everyone which is now reflected on this Audience based award of "BEST DOCUMENTARY". It is the beginning of many presentations to come. We're getting ready for more screenings in May at the so call NAZI-ARIZONA where they HUNT Latinos. 

We are having a presentation in Tucson on May, 15th (still waiting for Phoenix to confirm the details).  I'll say this, I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE MY PAPERS and will REFUSE to look WHITE so I don't get stopped. Our role will be to take this story of struggle to the hearts of the people in Arizona and let them experience how an organized movement, with people of all  colors and religions stopped HR4437 back in 2006 and gave the Democratic Party the power in the House and Senate (they ended up doing nothing anyways). Now, people in Arizona are facing SB 1070, a new form of racial discrimination law. We will do our part and it will be NOW.

We are now donating TWO screenings to the organizations who were involved in our film so they can raise funds for the upcoming MAYDAY march.

Quiero empezar por agradecer a todos los que fueron a nuestras presentaciones en el Chicago Latino Film Festival. Los boletos se AGOTARON días antes de las presentaciones y casi toda la audiencia se quedaba para la discusión al final. No tuvimos mas que buenos comentarios de nuestro trabajo y eso se reflejo en el premio basado en la audiencia de "MEJOR DOCUMENTAL" en el festival. Esto apenas es el principio ya que nos estamos preparando para nuestras futuras presentaciones en MAYO que van hacer en la NAZI-ARIZONA donde hay cazadores de LATINOS. Por el momento ya tenemos los detalles de la presentacion en Tucson AZ (info abajo). Estamos por confirmar la información en Phoenix. Ya una vez que la tengo les dare los detalles. 

Una cosa si les digo NO ME VOY A LLEVAR MIS PAPELES ni voy a tratar de verme com un GÜERO para que no me detengan. Nuestra función de ahora es tocar los corazones de la gente en ARIZONA con esta historia de lucha cuando organizaciones eh individuos de todos colores y religiones lucharon juntos contra la ley HR4437. Ahora que tiene en frente la ley SB 1070 que no es mas que una ley racista contra los latinos eh inmigrantes de ese estado. Vamos a poner nuestro granito de arena los mas pronto posible.
