Subject: ACTION: ICE Riots Targets Detainees of Color-Repression at PIDC
To: Anayanse Garza <anay...@swunion.org>

ACTION ALERT: Call Janet Napolitano (866-587-3023) and Director Micheal
Jay Pitts of Texas Regional Field Office (210-967-7164) to demand an end
to violent ICE attack against detainees!

One day after Acting Director of ICE’s Office Phyllis Coven turns her back
to fasting mother, Zoila Monila, and 200 hunger strikers at Port Isabel
Detention Center, ICE riot targets detainees of color and hunger strikers.

Physical force and intimidation tactics are being used against detainees.
All phone access is terminated and 25 hunger strikers are being processed
to be transferred to Willacy County Detention Center. Top Official Micheal
Watkins tells hunger strikers "we're shipping you to Willacy, straight to
the box." When hunger strikers ask why, Michael Watkins responds "because
you're big and black."

Demand that racism and violence against detainees STOP! CALL NAPOLITANO
866-587-302 and JAY PITTS 210-967-7164 NOW
