Chicago Movement for Palestinian Rights and Communities United Against Foreclosure and Eviction invite you to an evening of story-telling.

A Home Denied: Struggling Against Displacement from Chicago to Palestine

Both here and abroad, racist and militarized institutions threaten to uproot oppressed peoples from their communities. The housing justice movement in Chicago is connected to the Palestinian struggle against displacement and home demolitions. Listen to the stories of people who have been forced from their homes, denied entry into their homeland, and resisted by occupying vacant homes and rebuilding after demolition. Join us as we learn from each other’s movements and gain strength in our common struggles for justice and liberation.

Tanto aquí como en el extranjero, instituciónes racistas y  militaristas amenazan con arrancar a la gente de sus comunidades raises.  El movimiento por justicia de vivienda en Chicago esta conectada con la lucha Palestina contra el desplazamiento y demoliciónes de hogares.  Escuche historias de personas que han sido forzadas de su hogar, que le han negado entrada a su paíz, y quienes resisten, ocupando casas vacías y reconstruyendo despues de demolición.  Acompañenos  para aprender mas de los movimientos y fortalecernos en la lucha comun por justicia y liberación.
