to Dust Warfare Chicago
Made the trip up to games stop in milwaukee on saturday, for a game
of dust warfare. Their group has there own facebook page making it
easy to coordinate games, but I'm told they play almost every
saturday. They seem to have a pretty active group up there, a great
bunch of guys, and plenty of table space to play on. We ended up
playing a free for all style game, in which every player used an
allied army and everyone was attacking each other while trying to
claim their 2 objectives. Most of the guys also come down to games
plus on occasion so it should be possible to coordinate a really large
warfare day with them sometime.
Game Stop also carries the dust line of products as well as Incursion
and secrets of the 3rd reich lines which a lot of guys use with dust
for some added variety. Ended up buying a bunch of zombies from both
of those lines myself as I don't much like the official dust zombies
and didn't want multiple packages of them. They also seem more in
scale with the other dust figures as the dust zombies all have much
larger heads and are taller than the other dust figures. Some of the
guys also use the incursion ape to replace markus, which is a lot less
expensive than buying operation seelowe to get him and a reaper figure
to replace rosie. The incursion ape looks quite a bit larger than
markus but I actually like the reaper figure better than rosie. As
soon as I make some panzer gloves for my new zombies I'll post some
pictures in the forum.

Nice reporting Todd
Its good to know there are more players nearby. I doubt Ill be making the trek to Milwaukee
but I'll definitely get over to Games Plus for a gathering.
I looked over those Incursion minis and I really like those zombies too. Looks like a fun game as well. I was considering getting Tannhauser but now I might get this game.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Thanks. If you haven't seen this site http://www.adpublishing.de/html/incursion.html
you might want to check it out. He's a professional painter who does
mini's for a lot of the companies in Europe and is heavily into Weird
Wars style games. Lots of really nice photos and a good place to see a
wide range of mini's that fit pretty well with dust figures.
