to Area Conference Coordinator (ACC), CFC North America Family Conference '09
Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings of peace this Memorial of Saint Benedict, abbot!

Few days from now, it would be conference week and all of us, at different times, will be traveling to converge in one place at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

With this, allow us to make some important announcements below for dissemination to all.

We are excited to see you all and we pray that the Holy Angels will protect you along the way and reach the university without much delay in time for the Family Conference.

KIDS' WATCH ALERT

We have reached the magic number of 1600 which is the full capacity of "The Foellinger Auditorium". This number pertains to the delegates who are registered for the Family Conference. This does not include children in the kids' watch.

Over and above this number is prohibited and therefore we would like to solicit your cooperation.

All children need to be in the designated Kids' Watch Area located in one of the dormitories before the conference starts on Friday, July 17, 2009. You will be instructed where to proceed as soon as you're done with the registration and we will specify the drop-off time for your kids. Instructions will also be posted in strategic places to help you out.

As everyone will be accounted for including small children not registered or can't be in the Kids' Watch, we request that you provide us the following pertinent information - name, age, parent's name, tel#, email address. We may need to call the parents for further details.

This is very important and your full support is required.

REGISTRATION ON FRIDAY (JULY 17, 2009)

Please proceed to the registration area at the Foellinger Auditorium to get your Conference Packet.

Foellinger Auditorium Address:
709 South Matthews Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801

The packet includes instruction where to go for your assigned residence hall or dormitory. Each residence hall has its own personnel to assist with your check-in. They will provide you with room keys and meal tickets. You will need to present your Conference ID every time you enter the residence hall so please make sure you are wearing the ID at all times while on campus.

The dorms will provide pillows and bedsheets. Not all dorm though have towels so please bring some with you and don't forget your toiletries. Some dorms are 12-story building and with elevators so don't worry if you are assigned at the higher floors. All rooms are air-conditioned.

If you need parking, you can buy it in the residence hall at $6 per day. Your parking permit allows you to park in a designated place only. If you go around campus, please bring enough coins with you for metered-parking. A quarter is good for 20 minutes.
