CFC Family Conference '09 updates - Feb 1, 2009

Peace!

The conference registration fees had been set and will be disseminated within the week pending last minute confirmation. In the meantime, kindly provide us with your ACC (Area Conference Coordinator) so we can include them in our updates though the Regional Heads will continue to receive all communications regarding the conference.

 

As a side note. We just got back today from UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). This is our second visit in that area to explore the possibility of having CFC established prior to the conference date. We are glad to share with you that the Lord has laid some foundation for us to continue doing His work of evangelization. There are already 3 couples (CFC members from the Philippines) who moved there 2-3 years back and as excited as we are to have CFC established in that area.

 

In addition, the Lord provided us a missionary priest (a Filipino) in the University of Illinois itself who knew CFC in his home province in the Philippines. At present, Fr. Robert (Manansala) has gathered names of 9 couples who signify interest to join CFC. There could be more, he said. God willing, we hope a CLP can be started later part of this month. And we need volunteers...

 

Truly, God's faithfulness is amazing and we go wherever God leads us to.
