Dear brothers and sisters,
It is so reassuring experiencing the love of God through your overwhelming support for our Family Conference. For this I honor you together with all our brethren whether they are able to join the celebration or just being one in spirit with us due to various reasons that they won't be present physically.
Please continue to pray for a spirit-filled gathering of our community in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for this whole week.
The Kids Village (KV) will start this afternoon, Wednesday the 15th of July 2009. We request that you include in your petition the kids, the parents, coordinators and all who will be involved in the KV activities today until Friday morning.
On Friday afternoon, the CFC and CFC-Youth combined conference will commence.
Throughout the week, we continue to pray that everything will be in accordance with God's design for this is God's plan and we are just instruments of His love and grace for all not only to those who will be present in the celebration but for the rest of our community.
In this regard, we ask that you go to Confession before the Conference (for those of us who have not had one yet recently).
We are an army of God and we go wherever He leads us to. UIUC is where God wants us to go for this year's conference. May God's Holy Angels watch and cover us as we travel and may our trip be an enjoyable one. May all the discomforts, if any, be a part of this wonderful celebration of God's goodness.
To the University of Illinois at Ubana-Champaign, here we go!!!
