PDF Tutorial Part IV Item 3 Implementing Real-Time Updates with Save Hooks Not Working

Hi,

I'm very interested in CB and am seriously considering using it for a major upcoming project. However, I'm working through the tutorial for the second time and am still unable to get the part about real-time updates working. I'm using the latest CB (0.7.5), CB Admin, and Erlang R15B01.

At first I thought it might be a typo on my part, so I copied & pasted the code from the samples, overwriting the code I had hand-typed, but it still won't work. I checked in Chrome's Developer Tools and found that listen_for_events seems to get populated with a single timestamp, which it apparently never finds (?). I'm not really sure what's going on. There is not error in the terminal and the only error in the JS console is a failed request with no details.

Has this happened to anyone before?

I had the real time updates working with mochiweb instead of misultin as the server in boss.config.

Hello,

I'm interrested in CB since more than 1 year, because I'm preparing
myself to switch from the python powered Django/Tornado to an erlang
VM web framework, which is a strong technical choice.

I have just finished the tutorial, and I have some 'bugs' that could
be fixed in the tutorial and become useful examples on how use RT
updates.

1) (as said by CMD) the RT update is killed if you delete a greeting
2) the RT update is killed if a greeting use the before_create() hook
3) (and the most important) the RT is only working on ONE web browser client
