Json object returned from postgress have long blank space

Hi All,

I try make a json service with CB and postgresql as backend.

I can save and get the json data, but one problem is the returned json have a long blank space, following the defined data type in postgres, like char(255), when i create an entry "ABC" , when returned in json, it have "ABC                      ... (255 white space)"  

Is this the behaviour of CB or need to do some processing before return it to json.

i use {json, [{rows, data}]}   to return the json object from a request.

Any clue will be appreciated.
