“Serving as a host site supervisor for NHC Chicago and as an alum is such a rewarding experience! It’s wonderful
to be able to host an AmeriCorps member for 10.5 months and provide training and professional development in a public health setting. AmeriCorps members bring vital services to communities in Chicago and exceptional care to Erie patients. Our service year
members provide care, education, and navigation to hundreds of patients each year. As a former NHC Chicago alum, I understand the impact and importance of serving as an AmeriCorps member and I love being able to help support and mentor our next generation
of AmeriCorps volunteers and public health professionals…”
