Hello all - 

Are you, or do you know, a young Chicagoan (18- 24) that's interested in LGBTQ+ Health, sexual health, and building job skills? The Fellowship in HIV Prevention program is recruiting for their next cohorts. Details and links below!

The Fellowship will assemble a group of 10 fellows (ages 18-24 by Jan 2026), who are interested in LGBTQ+ health, sexual health education, HIV prevention and care and to help create HIV education resources in Chicago. Fellows will also focus on wellness, learning new mental health strategies for personal use and to share with their friends and community. Fellowship focuses on BIPOC recent Chicago Public School graduates from the South & Westsides of Chicago. 

Applicants should be 18 years old by January 1, 2026

  • The Fellowship participants will be expected to:
    • Attend a mandatory 4-Day Retreat
    • Participate in monthly Monday evening meetings throughout the calendar year
    • Commit to about 5-10 hours per month total

Upon completion of expectations, participants have the potential to earn up to $1,800 throughout The Fellowship calendar year.
