Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Duration: Longterm

Rate: $35/hr on C2C

 

Looking for Android Tester with 2- 3 year of experience

 

Requirement:

The candidate would be responsible for feature testing of applications along with test plan creations. Engineer should also be able to report bugs with clarity and precision and work with other mobile teams to improve the product quality in a fast-paced work environment.

 

JOB DUTIES:
·         Support R&D lab for feature testing, exploratory testing, performance testing and customer specific tests.
·         Develop test plans, test cases for new features/applications covering core functionality and corner case scenarios based on the customer requirements.
·         Report and manage bugs and work with dev team to resolve them.
·         Validate and verify issues and fixes.
·         Communicate the test results, bugs reported, progress on testing and any blocking issues clearly to relevant team members.
·         Work with team members and other QA teams to come up with better ideas to help drive the product quality to the highest standard.
·         Write and execute automation test scripts for different application testing is preferred.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
·         Prior 2-3 years of SW testing experience, including test case creation.
·         1-2 years’ experience of writing an executing automation test scripts, preferably in python is a plus.
·         Experience with wireless products or other customer products highly desirable.
·         Familiar with Android platform, usage of ADB, DDMS tools, taking logs is highly desirable.
·         Usage of QPST, QXDM tools, PST tools is a plus.
·         Excellent attention, Committed to schedule, work, product quality.
·         Hands on knowledge of mobile devices, products and technologies desirable.
·         Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with critical thinking ability.
·         Reliable Team player.
·         Able to perform in fast paced work environment.
