Position: Java Lead with Thick Client exp

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Longterm

 

Criteria for this position:

·         Must have Lead experience

·         Minimum 10+ years of experience.

·         Candidate must have thick side experience not thin side.

·         Must have hands on development experience.

·         Must have skills are – Eclipse RCP framework, EMF, SWT, Swing, OSGI, MVC patterns,

·         Candidates with Oil & Gas domain experience would be a plus

·         Candidates need to undergo 4 levels of screening, initial technical screening followed by Codility test (online), once get shortlisted discussion with customer followed by codility test from client end.

 

Description:

·         Expert on Eclipse RCP framework + common components + EMF, Java UI, SWT, Swing, OSGI, MVC Patterns for UI, He/she has in-depth knowledge with the Eclipse platform technologies developing plugin application with RCP/Jface. 

·         He/she must have a strong core Java experience with hand-on experience in threading, performance tuning, and object oriented concept such as encapsulation, design patterns, inheritance.

·         Additional : Experience in all Swing, RCP and SWT.

·         If they have just support background, they would have not implemented any J2EE and architectural design patterns. They should be aware of all the components/systems integrated with their module.
