Hey All,

I've been thinking that it might be beneficial for the group to have
our own Chicago-centric sales/deals/promotions thread. There are a lot
of options out there that sometimes cover Chicago but I've never come
across anything specifically for our town. The styleforum sales alert
thread seems to be mostly about Yoox and European boutiques, Racked
Chicago is more focused on womenswear, Valet's sales alert is all
online, The Choosy Beggar is NYC-focused, etc. Sir & Madame,
Haberdash, and Penelope's pop up sometimes on sales roundups but not
always. So if you're into it let's start our own.

For starters, and you can yell at me if you've all been over this, I
stopped by Marshall's (3131 N Clark) and they have a lot of quality
brands on final mark clearance (yellow tag). Rag & Bone (wind breakers
and engineer's jackets for $60-70), Canali sport coats at $260 from
MSRP $1,695, tons of RL outwear including some very nice RLBL, Jack
Spade waxed parkas for $60-$100, Zegna, Corneliani (collection, trend,
and ID), and tons of euro labels I'm not too familiar with like
Versace, Love Moschino, Ballantyne, Ben Sherman (I think I saw one
blazer at $30), ACNE, Coming Soon, and more.

They've got some other nice things there like Pantherella socks (only
cotton ATM), one Boglioli K jacket in blue herringbone 52 for $600,
and I've seen Brunello Cucinelli Cashmere jackets in there at $600 as
well (they last maybe a week).

I've checked out other Marshall's across the city, and for whatever
reason this one seems to have the best selection for imported
menswear. I might be wrong, but it seems that a lot of the final sale
items were pulled from other Chicago stores to be sold at the 3131
location.

When it comes to Haberdash, sadly we don't really know until it goes on sale. We might have a day's heads up but that is it.

Honestly, best way to check is the website: Haberdashmen.com

Hey guys - Buffalo exchange on Milwaukee has some The West is Dead raw selvage denim and chinos in stock for $30-35, limited selection left. I was there yesterday and they had a few in 30, 33, and some larger sizes as well.

Hell if anyone wants to proxy me a 33 I would jump all over these. Full seal of approval if you can catch this. 12.5 oz NIPPON MILLS? fuck yeah.

Yo,

So I noticed a couple times at crossroads (both LP and WP) this brand "ArG", which I thought was weird since I know rogue territory has their Ar-G trousers. Yep, dumb me didn't check. Both locations have (or at least had) some left (new with tags), in addition they've got various Baldwin chinos & Levi's Made & Crafted, all $40-$50. sizes & selection limited since this was most likely a buy out, and you'll have to do a bit of digging.
