I'm tired of my jeans getting a hole between my thighs just as the fades are getting wicked. Anyone got a good place to get that mended?

I've had denim repaired by Maria from Golden Needle before, but only once. No complaints, though.

So, he won't do a really good job actually, but Martin at I and I tailoring up just a bit north of Ravenswood on Ashland will patch the holes for you for like $5. When I had him patch some really old jeans I love, he just looked at them, laughed and said in his thick Jamaican accent, "man you got your money's worth" several times over and then patched the holes, they've held up since! Basically he finds thread that looks similar to your jean color and then sews denim fabric beneath it and then sews the hole up a bit. I don't think the patches are even really noticeable. Also he might have actually went through with his plan to move to Key West by now so I'd call first. 

However, the man does a hell of a job on pants, for the record.

Yea I went to mildblend. They patched and darned my crotch blow out.

The problem is the crotch is likely to blow out again in new spots or adjacent to a darn/patch. It happens. People say it's shoddy workmanship but it's just life, chubrub and cotton.
