Hi
On September 17 I received a swipe fee on a reimbursement. From my on boarding I remember them saying that the swipe fee only applied to the income deposits, not refunds of money we already spent at a location. I would like a reimbursement on this swipe fee, preferably with no swipe fee attached.

Well, fuck me and my "new" slow work computer struggling with gmail.

I was planning on emailing/ facebooking the group for a get together soon. Can I get a roll call of who is interested?

Yes, we ought. I was also going to try to get the band back together once I get a pause in school.

Not that I’ve managed to attend anything in the 3 years I’ve been on the list, but I’m definitely interested!

My friend got me this gift a few years ago, it's really interesting. It's an old book about neckwear, and it has 100-ish knots you can tie. But eventually they just end up being slight variations on the basics, one I particularly remember (haven't actually read the book in about a year), is a man wearing a tie outside his sweater, and them just giving it a name. I really can't determine if the book intends to devolve into a joke, or if these latter knots are serious. I will bring the book to our next meeting and let you all decide.

Is a double Windsor even real? Is it a full Windsor times two?

Single and half Windsor knots are the same knot. That logic generally extends to double and full Windsor knots. Weird naming convention.

Speaking of getting together, PROPERSUIT (my wonderful new employer who's brought me home) is throwing a shindig next month. Thursday, Nov. 19th at 358 W. Ontario St. in River North.

We just ask that everyone RSVP. You can do that here: http://propersuit.com/rsvp

But hey, I'd love to get together sooner (and later!), especially for bar trivia. Bring back Brogues Before Hose!

Alan, you know as well as I: menswear geeks can't overcome their crippling social anxiety without copious amounts of booze. Kiyoshi, double up (at least) on that liquor.
