If we are able to meet up, XYZZYish games would be good.
http://www.intfiction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=7858We played Counterfeit Monkey (the obvious choice) at another meeting so I don't know if we want to continue/rehash.
Bigger than You Think seems like a possibility if it's short.
Howling Dogs is in twine, so it could be done quickly, but the writing gave me enough of a headache that I just picked through the source to look for the alternate ending. Plus the author's twitter made me shake my head. So I'm a bit biased.
First Draft intersects your suggestions with
XYZZYs, and Muggle Studies sounds like a good solid choice. I never played either. Apparently MS has small issues the author knows about, but most everyone seems to like it-it'd be a good candidate for a transcript, to encourage a new release or just say nice job.
Though I admit I haven't played it mostly since I am not a huge fan of Harry Potter.
Also, in the quick games I enjoy and recommend department, In a Manor of Speaking is straightforward belly laughs, and You Will Select a Decision is hilarious meta-humor that isn't too pretentious--it's a collection of 2 stories and the promised sequel names themselves are funny.
